William represents physicians, medical professionals, hospitals, and health care organizations in civil and administrative actions across New York State. His practice is primarily focused on defending health care practitioners and institutions from professional liability claims, matters of regulatory review, and issues relative to hospital staffing and administration. Additionally, William assists clients with matters of Estate Planning and residential Real Estate transactions. SuperLawyers named William a top-rated “Rising Star” in Medical Malpractice Defense in 2019.

William is a lifelong resident of Rochester, New York, where he is actively involved in the community and serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Rochester Community Transportation Foundation. He lives in the North Winton Village neighborhood of Rochester with his wife, Alyssa Belasco, and their dogs, Ollie and Max.

Prior to joining Brown, Gruttadaro, & Prato, William served as a volunteer at the Legal Aid Society of Rochester New York assisting clients with housing matters and business organizations.  William was a competitor in the Frederick Green Mock Trial competition at the University of Illinois College of Law. During law school, William also worked as an in-house intern for a successful food retail corporation in Rochester, New York.
