Ms. Gefell, R.N., B.S.N., received her A.A.S. in Nursing from Monroe Community College in 1985 and her B.S. in Nursing from the SUNY College of Technology-Utica in 1987. During the next 11 years she worked for Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, DePaul Medical Center in Virginia and St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester as a medical-surgical staff nurse, as a case manager, as a step-down/telemetry certified staff nurse, and as a hospital educator. In 1998 she began work as a staff nurse at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, New York and moved to their Intensive Care Unit the following year, where she stayed until 2006. Immediately prior to joining our law firm as a nurse consultant, Michele worked for the University of Rochester as a Quality Assurance Project Nurse in the Department of Primary Care. Michele has been with Brown, Gruttadaro, & Prato, PLLC for 15 years.
