Mr. Houck represents physicians, medical professionals, hospitals, and health care organizations in civil actions across New York State. His practice is primarily focused on defending health care practitioners and institutions from professional liability claims. The New York Daily Record named Mr. Houck an “Up & Coming Attorney” in 2020.

Prior to joining Brown, Gruttadaro & Prato, Mr. Houck was a Senior Assistant District Attorney in Monroe County. As an Assistant District Attorney, Mr. Houck’s assignments included the Major Felony Bureau, Non-Violent Felony Bureau, and Local Courts Bureau.

Mr. Houck grew up in Rochester, and currently resides in Honeoye Falls with his wife, their daughter, and their black lab.
