Mr. Gruttadaro received his B.S. in accounting from St. John Fisher College in 1981 and his J.D. from the Mississippi College School of Law in 1984 where he served as Managing Editor of the Law Review. While attending law school, Mr. Gruttadaro served as an intern in the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office. After law school, he was employed in the United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Mississippi as confidential law clerk to the Honorable Dan M. Russell, Jr. Mr. Gruttadaro has over thirty-seven years of experience as a trial attorney, and has tried nearly one hundred medical malpractice and negligence cases to verdict.

Dennis is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an organization of which membership is limited to attorneys with superlative experience trying cases to verdict. Since 2019, Dennis has been a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL), which is composed of the preeminent members of the trial bar in the United States and Canada. The ACTL extends fellowship by invitation to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy, and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality.
